Fixed the RDD CDI for CBZ over the weekend and rode the bike all over the city and nearby towns.
Thanks for the tips Arun. Got the CDI fixed on top of air box, under the fuel tank. MAde sure no part of CDI is touching the frame or any metal part of bike. Connected the red wire to the +12V (black wire) of the flasher. One problem though, the tacho is not going over 5,000rpm. When revs go over 5,000, the tacho needle comes down to around 3,000 and then again start climbing up.
The bike feels a lot smoother all through. Vibrations are almost nil till 80 after which a little bit of vibs start to appear. Low and mid range has significantly improved with bike still pulling slightly better than before post 90km/hr. There is not much change in the top speed though but it reached there quicker than before.
Did a PUC test. First with the RDD CDI and then with the Stock CDI (let the bike idle for 5min after putting the stock CDI before checking the PUC level). Following is the image of the same (top is with RDD CDI and bottom is stock CDI).

Stock CDI:
CO = 0.12%
HC = 150
RDD CDI:
CO = 0.02%
HC = 140
Did some mileage testing as well (no mileage bottle yet). Did a flat out run (90% of times at 80+) on the highway and got a mileage of 29.91km/lt of Unleaded fuel. With similar riding with stock CDI, I used to get mileage of around 25km/lt.
Did another run on highway where I was going flat out for 50% of distance and then rest 50% around 60. Got a mileage of 37.59km/lt. With similar riding with stock CDI, I used to get mileage of around 32km/lt.
Did one run in city + highway, in my normal riding mode (speeds of around 60 with ocassional top speed rips), got a mileage of around 42.58km/lt. With similar riding with stock CDI, I used to get mileage of around 35km/lt.
Thanks a ton Ron, for the amazing CDI. While I was doing all this, everytime I used to see some guy who has done some "performance" mods on their bike by putting a free flow exhaust/air filter or twin exhaust, I used to land up smiling inside my helmet, pitying on the money they have "wasted" on all that trying to gain a few extra horses :-D

RE: CBZ CDI
great new !! let me juss confirm . the bike IS revving past 5000 rpm but the tacho out wire frm the CDI connected to the Tachometer to indicate rpm is not working properly and meter is not crossing 5000 rpm . am i rite ? sweet man . the 4 stroke guys should be mighty pleased !!! will this work on the rest of the 4 strokes ? pulsars ? karizmas ?

Great so we have proved without a shred of doubt that RDD knows ignitions be it two stroke or four stroke.
We have achieved the holly grail of the automotive Engine, Increase mileage, decrease pollutants and increase power.
Whats really funny how many units have we sold 2.
While the Indian automotive rags print garbage the automotive development of the decade which Ive wasted 7 years of my life developing languishes in the drain. Great country man.
In response to your post. I noticed something similar when we where testing the Pulsar CDI on Engine Hackers Big Bore.
The complete engine was vibrating like hell. We plugged on the RDD CDI and it went silky smooth. So I know what you mean when you say the engine has gone smooth.
About the Emission Drop. The figures are good but sadly they dont show the real picture.
The real picture is much better. But in order to see the real improvements you need to replace the complete line and filter. Or calibrate the machine to free air. Im pretty sure the drop in pollutants is much much more. The CO normally drops to Zero. Or under .1 one way to confirm what Im saying is do a run with free air you will notice your still getting pretty high readings. The reasons for this is that the machines we are using aren't very accurate and the pipes and filters are pretty dirty and hardly ever replaced. Best do a calibration to free air reading once and then chk. You will find the results are much better. Even as it is its still quite impressive.
About your tacho issue The RDD Digital 4 stroke CDIs dont have Tacho outs. The fade your experiencing is related to the fact that your battery is weak. Arpan was here today and told me that the same thing happens when you press the horn.
This means your battery is weak. you should re-run your tests with a good battery and I promise you the improvements you see will be even more.
If your mileage has gone up by 15% then for sure your power has gone up too. Do you feel the increase in power ? And acceleration. ? Arpan said the bike was really moving. sadly we cant do much about the top speed cause the two valve head just cant flow any more. But you should feel the gains in acceleration.
And your CDI is using the new Ferites we imported for the RZ CDIs.
A chart like this would help. Prove our point more clearly.
Thanks for the Positive feedback. Its nice to know even the new generation of four stroke bikes can see good improvements with a proper Ign.
