dont be a monkey man..it can give a nasty electric shock...I second that, I was playing around with my CDI today, removed the spark plug cap and started the bike with the wire directly to the spark plug, then started pulling the wire away, there was a bright blue 1 inch spark and the bike was still running and it was only at idle

That is a cleanest mounting of the Chinoy Filter, I've seen on an RX... Can't the RHS panel be cut so that the Chinoy Filter doesn't need to be stuffed and squeezed into place? This looks so much better for the engine..

RE: UNI installed
thanks vivek...at first i was also not very keen in stuffing the Chinoy Filter and running the bike...but then we figured out another way...stuffing sill persist but not on a bigger level as the panel is cut to make room...

Why could you not remove the old box completely?

Hey your happy with your Purchases from RDD.
THats all that matters man.
Your filter setup looks good.
Morale of the story for future customers.
If you buy multiple products from RDD install them one at a time and dont mix up things. i.e. the jets go with the filters.

RE: UNI installed
You can't remove the entire old air filter box because the battery sits on the other side of the air filter box...Vinay have you mounted the filter directly on the carb ?
I tried t do it that way din't work had to use the old air filter manifold and some plumbing pipe... but the airbox will had to be cut so got an old broken airbox from the gujrii for 120 buck...
