hello everyone its been years since i wanted to join up rddreams.com just didnt take time off to register..and now that im back to biking i really had to join the party....
it was a while since i had a bike, last i sold my RD and GS400x in 2001 all of 10 years which i dearly miss...now i picked up a VF1000F to kickstart life again....i also picked up an RD from a friend who i had earlier helped buy the same from another....
im from hyd, went to school for the most part in chennai....thanks to those days(early teens) of visiting the sriperumbudur track in chennai with all the MMSC folk..and a shit load of friends and their motoring family, the already existent motor bug kept growing and graduated when i bought an RD when i was 18.....im 30 now...
i have checked out a few forums and all they talk about is plastic speed, arguably rddreams is in one word an "honest" place for real bikers.....speed aint the only thing on two wheels(u have to live to ride), its about fun, the ride, the love of riding & most importantly how you ride....im sure most of you will agree there is more self respect & fulfillment in riding a bike for the love of it & for the love of owning that specific bike...but its very un-biking if one buys a bike to pose around and mostly not know if its a 2 or a 4 stroke mill...so on and so forth...AMEN
well then..lets keep the miles clocking, at the end of the day its all about the rubber meeting the road....
Great Forum

Hey! Revhappy nice intro. Welcome to RDD man. Neat looking bike you have there in the VF1000F not leaving behind the RD.
Welcome to RDD again man.
Shhhhhhhhhhh! man, someone might hear ya. Its a well kept secret. They just have a different perception of biking thats all. Don't much like posers either. But again I always know us "Educated" folk will always be ahead.revhappy wrote:i have checked out a few forums and all they talk about is plastic speed, arguably rddreams is in one word an "honest" place for real bikers.....speed aint the only thing on two wheels(u have to live to ride), its about fun, the ride, the love of riding & most importantly how you ride....im sure most of you will agree there is more self respect & fulfillment in riding a bike for the love of it & for the love of owning that specific bike...but its very un-biking if one buys a bike to pose around and mostly not know if its a 2 or a 4 stroke mill...so on and so forth...AMEN
