RDD Digital CDI – 2 Installed finally!!

For those of you guys who saw my RD before..Rags,CCR, Senthil,Guru….bike was running points…then switched to a local CDI. The bike ran. Just about. You heard it…revved to about 4000 rpm beyond which she refused to go further and sounded like she had a serious case of flatulence.

Installed the RDD CDI.… Pretty straightforward….Printed out the pics & text on the install in the morning & was fitted & ready to go by lunch…Got it timed & onced over at Addu’s & that was it…

Difficult to describe the metamorphosis ….she just absolutely sings now…starts on a half kick and wails all the way over 8000 rpm easy….I’m a pussy when it comes to sustained WOT but I think this CDI just grew me some big brass balls!! Pulls like an express train right from 2500 rpm with the power on tap right thru the powerband. Plus the revvability is so absolutely friggin’ obscene I get goose bumps!!! She’s dangerous now…CCR take cover dude…payback time after the last Nandi Hill’s ride!!!

Also put in the Chinoy Filter’s, rebuilt my carbs (Needles,needle jets and upjetted)…Most of my saved up goodies in one go…

Thanks a mil Ron….fantastic product…my bike’s in decent shape finally…Now I ‘m gonna hunt me down some zma’s, pulsies, bulls and other assorted *#$& jokes..hmmm and maybe some non-RDD RD’s too!!

Shall post up on mileage & emissions later…o yeah...I’m not a smokie any more…

Next up…hoping for a miracle for Ron to deem it worthy to magic my barrels!!

Hey did you pass through Indiranagar 100 ft road on Sunday evening around 7.45pm? Saw someone on a blue RD and orangish sort of jacket. Bike sounded too sweet and when he went pasty there were two joker types on a karizma trying to play catch up.

Yep Uday, that was me...I live on 2nd main off 100ft road...was getting back from the meet at Ron's...sheesh didn't even notice I had those two behind me!!

A bike like that deserves the best.

You know sometimes Im happy that there people stupid enoughf to run the other "Local" CDI kits.
But I love these bikes to much to even wish that on an enemy.

Your suposed to do the polution and mileage chks before and after installing the CDI kit.
Once you have changed the jeting / needles etc it will be hard to draw any conclusion.

OK i did guess it might be you because of the mention of that jacket in a post some time back. :-) Well they were pissed off first because a ratty looking RX135 with a huge guy riding it overtook them when they were imitationg Rossi and then something blurry went past them(your RD) and they wanted to see what it was and they were desperately trying to catch up. :-)) So next time lets meet up man.

Good looking bike dude... You should consider repostioning the Kicker lever before it takes the paint off your bike's side panel.
