Hi everyone.. am Ashfaq.. a real newbie to the world of biking !!! My apologies for not posting this earlier.. conveniently forgot about it.

Am from Bangalore and i just love the city and its people !! Coming back to biking, my story starts this way.. 5ys ago (dont worry, we'll skip years soon like the saas-bahu serials ) i wanted to buy a bike and couldnt get my dad to buy it for me as he said i can buy the bike, literally.. lol

During the years i made up my mind to never learn how to ride a bike untill i got my own bike and stuck to riding my dad's '87 model Kinetic Honda !!!

Fast forward circa 2006 (i told u we'd do this soon ).. after a lot of procrastination i finally put my foot down to buy a bike.. started googling and reading moutshut reviews to find the best bike to suit my needs.. during those moments i stumbled onto various bike forums, thats when CCR referred me here !!! A very own desi forum for bikers and we have so many guys from 'bangy' !!! WOW..

(insert crying, mass hysteria and jubliation here)

Thanks to CCR and ur threads and posts i have finally decided on the 125cc Discover as i dont have a big budget.. went and paid the down payement last sturday.. will get the bike tomorrow !!! Gonna learn how to ride it on the way back home

I love this place.. i am a member of a few forums on the net and the 'community feeling' i get at this place is awesome.. u will see a lot of me here from now on.. thanks for all the knowledge sharing !!!

btw, am a real n00b at biking right now (cant differentiate between a sprocket and faring) but with an open mind, am willing to learn...

Welcome and have fun on the Jadoo bike

Rode it once test riding for my cousin. Good neat bike but if you are big you will have serious cramps with the riding position.

with an open mind anyone can learn.. I know.. cos.. i'm workin on a masters degree rite now.. and I cudnt write an 8 the way its supposed till like 4th grade or soemthin.. my dad had to beat it into me.. quite literally..

Grr.. this is sooo irritating man !!! jus got a call from the bike dealer and he says he can only give the bike by monday.. i was sooo expecting to get the bike today !! i cannot believe their incompetence !! i've waited for a week now for the bike without luck.. feel like wringing the guys neck.. sigh
