I am Shibu from Indore,MP. I have been on this forum for sometime now but didn't feel like putting up my introduction as I didn't own a RD!! Well now I do, I bought it two weeks back, a 1987 LT, standing in someone's garage for last 7 years. I have just made some minor changes like putting up Thunderbird headlights,indicators and rear shocks to make it running for the moment. It needs a engine rebuild(I feel so) and a new paint and chrome job. I am posting a couple of pics and will be posting up the new pic when the bike is done up.

Just out of curiosity - Are you planning to take out that Reebok name,logo from the tank and side panels ? .She looks in a decent enough shape.How much did you pay for her ?.

Nice bike man and enjoy your stay here. Just take those reebok stickers off the bike. It should say Yamaha. Bikes in pretty good shape considering the time shes spent
in a garage.
Hi Don and Freebird....yes, I would be taking out the Reebok name and get it painted in RED and I paid 20k for it.....it was in somebody's house garage.
Yeah even I think it soemhow looks familiar. ANyways dude the externals liek silencer tank etc seem to be in good shape as do the hubs etc. It is a pretty good deal for 20k. HAve fun with teh rebuild and keep us posted.
