OK dudes seems like the matter is solved....
tried a lot of things thruout saturday...changed to fresh plugs, changed plug caps...tried going one notch leaner on the needle....fack tried everything that was possible but the bitch kept troubling at higher RPM's....one engine wud just shut down....got the needle back to the original position...finally got frustrated on saturday and went home at 11.30 in the night...
back to the mechs on sunday...cleaned the carbs again...did the float bowl test to check whether she is starving for fuel...nothing was happening checked everything...finally found out something new...this part I did not understand...the mech opened the petrol cap and told me there had to be a hole in there for air or something like that...without which it creates a vaccum and the fuel doesnt flow in....(cud someone explain this to
After this suddenly the problems disappeared....she was running smoothly...no issues at all...ripped the hell out of the bitch for around 40kms after that....she only shut down once that to around the end of the ride...but started back in one kick...no issues till then and no issues after that...
now she is running like a pure HT shud...ok low end and a crazy top end....
ron one suggestion wud be some markings on coil plate so we know the advance/retard timings...
cheers

Its called a vapour lock...u need a breather in the fuel tank cap to let the vapour out.....finally found out something new...this part I did not understand...the mech opened the petrol cap and told me there had to be a hole in there for air or something like that...without which it creates a vaccum and the fuel doesnt flow in....(cud someone explain this to

Regarding the markings No Pratz we wont be doing that.
It just make people who are as it is fluck lazy one more excuse not to time the bike.
Yamaha put markings on the orignal magnets and we all know how many engine blew up thinking ok if Yamaha put the mark there it must be correct.
If your buying the kit and want your bike to run well you better accept the fact that your going to need to time it right at least once during the install after that you dont have to worry about the timing changing for the rest of your life.
Also if you do bother to time your bike you will see degrees of advance are as wide as a hair. And each bike is going to be setup diffirent. Esp. if your crank has been re-set.
So each bike needs to find its own TDC and timing.
So now we all have a good idea of how your RD was runing before the CDI. THat you didnt even have a hole in your cap and it was still runing.
This has inspired me to make a new post.
