THis is a common refrain from most customers.
WHich I get to hear a lot.
Im not opening my mouth cause people will laughf at me.
Most customers cant explain how their RD went from gving them 12 Km / LTr to 28. Or how mileage on their RXGs sometimes improve by over 80%.
So they are embaresed to post up. And its the few brave souls who post up. Do so very hesitentlly cause they arent sure how to explain their findings.
Maybe if they understood why they would feel braver to come out of the closet and face the world with the figures.
There are many contradictry things happening after you install the RDD CDI which is your mileage goes up. And so does your power. And the engine runs cooler all contrdictry stuff.
If only one went up it would be kinda easier to defend or talk about.
This is what I understand or how I explain it.
Like the issue of the scratched heads yes we can grasp the funda that it will burn better I mean Ill give you the benefit of the doub here. And say ok. A grove will burn the fuel better. (Honestlly I dont fall for it but thats another story). So where are the drastic drop in emmisions. It shouldnt be too hard to go scan an engine before vs after scratches right.
Anyway we say a better spark burns the gas better. Again I can see people not beliving it i.e. wether you start a fire with a spark or a bazooka gun the fires going to be the same. So explain the mileage and the power increase.
My responce / understanding is that yes a better spark gives a better burn. But ehat exactlly is a better spark. Everybody from the guy standing on the road selling those spark boosters for 40 bucks to the most fancy 500$ ignitions and every imagineable cobination of wires and caps that claim to boost your power. all claim better spark. So what is a better spark.
There is no one product that you can buy that will give you a better spark.
A better spark has to come from the heart. So first you need a good source of power from the soruce or the alternator. Then you need tanks to hold that energy and lastlly the logic to control the charging and discharging of those tanks. So just high voltage alone dosent make a good spark. The energy measured in Mj need to be there too.
Our system has Twice the spark energy, and heat release this will result in a better burn. Its not up for debate cause we have the PUC scans to prove it.
Now about the power and Mileage conflict. How are we producing more power for the same ammount of gas and getting better mileage. And runing the engine cooler. This is a little harder to explain.
I belive the answer to this lies in the Ign timing curve.
I dont think we need to debate how absurd the idea of a static timing curve is be it from points or Newtronics or Auto Escorts or even the system Yamaha made. We are mature enoughf to know a staitc timing is absurdity on any engine. Because there will only be one narrow RPM range of arround 100 RPM where its going to be perfect.
What happens outside that hair thin narrow band. The rest of the time your either fighting the system (Generating heat or trying to catch up loosing power and mileage).
Think of the boy on the swing. Piston is like the boy. Gets shoved once goes one way swings back and waits for the next push.
Now imagine you have to push the swing at diffirent speeds. First slowlly and then faster. Now imagine if you could not adjust the point where you apply the push. What would happen. You would be hurting the swing and your hand. = Reduced engine life. Higher stress and strain on bearings pistons, con rod.
Where as if you where given the option to chose when and where to apply the force you could get the swing to move more faster with the same ammount of force.
Now to the part I dont understnad.
There is a fixed ammount of air entering your engine.
Air and petrol can only combine and burn in a very narrow range of 10:1 to 16:1. So the ammount of air entering the engine is fixed. Why when we keep increasing the ammount of fuel into the engine it keeps making more and more power.
Im sure a pro will find tons of holes and rubish to point out in this thread.
This thread is only meant to guide custoemrs who know less than me with ssome idea as to why they are experiencing what they are.
We are far from being able to say this is the perfect perfect curve but we can say with confidence. Its better than a staic timing based setup by light years. THe results speak for them selfs.
