a salute to all u guys out here..
well i request u all to bear with a bittle of gaggle from my end ..
hi..
my name is rahul and im 20 years old..as of now im doing my engineering in atria college,bangalore..
well ever since i was around 7 years cars and bikes used to psyche me out big time..had a feeling that i was born to be with SPEED..initally my ambition was to become an air force pilot but soon changed to get behind fast moving cars and bikes..
i owe it to my dad who thought from the age i was 8 me how to drive and within notime i picked up the nack from him..
since i have turned 16 i have owned (or rather dads gifts i must say) a kinetic,2 150cc pulsars,180cc pulsar and as of now have graduated to an mpfi zen which is just 6 months old..hope to get hold of something big in the near future..
would have owned a SBK if only if it wasnt for my bad luck with bikes which drove my parents to buy me a car for safety issues..
hobbies include playing cricket, football (the two sports i was chosen to represent the state),have keenly been following the F1 scene since 2001..was a enthu as i have always been for karting and other race events, but due to objecting parents had to give up my sports career till date..
finally having convinced my parents, have started to take keen interest in the drag, track events happenning in and around the country..have participated at the burnout drag along with a friend of mine in my zen just to gain a bit of experience before i start off professionally..also returned from the just concluded track day at sri perambadur..hopefully will take part in upcoming motorsport events if and when i get a chance to..
well i heard about this forum by my one and only friend psycho and decided to join other like minded friends such as u all across the country to initiatate some knowledge gain into this gods so called gift better known as HUMAN BRAIN..
would love to be along with u guys here and im sure as hell il enjoy my stay here..

So you ran a stock Zen at the Drag thats considered a big No no in some circles.
From my side though Id say hats off.
Stick to Psyco hes a bit of a chatter box. But a lot of Sanity in what he says.
What ever you do dont waste money on a half arse primative NOS setup.
Instead get the Engine tuned by a Tuner.
Your in safe hands with Psyco.

To vilify a great man is the readiest way in which a little man can himself attain greatness.

RE: Re: RE: a salute to all u guys out here..
thanks for the warm welcome guys..
chinoy sir,i do respect ur views and agree upon the same that buying a NOS kit is actually a waste of money..but i have no choice but to get one for the future drags just to remain competitive enough..unless and until we have a few stern rules bifurcating the NOS cars from the non-NOS cars i dont think guys like me can do pretty much about it..id like to see this rule being implemented the quickest as possible maybe as early as the speedrun..but that i guess is a wish we could only dream about..
and regarding psycho i bet every word u said is true ..and yes i guess i am in pretty safe hands..
to tom & v1p3r : yes guys SAG racing does rock ..and for those of u who were wondering who was my friend who took part in the drag it was none other than my another dear friend v1p3r..

The advice to ‘be yourself’ is obviously nonsense.
But our brains accept this tripe as wisdom, because it is more comfortable
to believe that we have a strategy for life than to believe we have no idea how to behave.

Lepp, I will return the fav hehe
ferrai wins only because of politics.. period...
As for MOST ferrai fans in India, they are ferrari fans because, thats the car they have seen winning from the time F1 became popular in this part of the world.. Let another car win for some time, all these fans will turn that way...
