Re: hi fellas..
Chethan, I have no personal experience with K&N, but with RDD Filter kit (RDD Filter) my bike runs like a charm. If I was you, I would stick to the roadmap which has worked wonders for many of us here and would first get the bike to run in a 'good stock condition', followed by the RDD CDI which is a ...

First of the last batch 90/100!
Picked up a 90/100 kit last week from Ron as soon as he decided to part with them unwillingly, had bugged him a few times before :) Spent some time over the weekend to fit the kit. If one has a RX135 magneto puller, it only helps you remove the stock rotor. You need to get the RX100 puller to fit ...

Re: 4S Head Rework 5S Barrel - feedback
Met up with Teji yesterday morning, he rode the bike and found nothing wrong...I mean, he didnt hear any weird or deto sounds. Suspected its probably the flutter from UNI at some rpms when the throttle is around half way - WOT. He said the compression is optimum and jetting is good though just a tad ...

Re: 4S Head Rework 5S Barrel - feedback
Ron...its a relatively new Barrel, has done about 1000 odd km. I did the initial run-in for about 300 km and I was light on throttle with short bursts of power. After that I've driven normally around the city, revving her to the redline a few times in 10 sec bursts. Also I'm using the premium gas by ...

4S Head Rework 5S Barrel - feedback
Installed the 4-speed head reworked by Ron on my bike. She's on a stock 5-speed barrel with Dreams CDI v3 and UNI. Now she runs quick, stays in the powerband while I'm shifting to higher gears unlike earlier. Still coming to terms with the power delivery of a 5-speed barrel since I'm used to driving ...

Intro - Part 2 :) Rebored recently, bike's still in the below 50 kmph break in period...done about 300 km...testing my patience. Have been reading a lot of older posts in the mean time...have bookmarked quite a few of them...its hard to remember the tech stuff being a newbie  If Bangalore guys ...

Hi Everybody!
This is Varun, a native Bangalorean...still coming to terms with the rapid 'development' of this once glorious city filled with sparrows... It was late 90s then, was zooming around on a reliable Hero Puch, fell in love with the Yamaha, dad wanted me to marry off a Hero Honda instead, stubbornness ...
