Re: Analog CDI kit
Is the analogue CDI still available? Since you are located in India, the best man to answer your question would be Ron Chinoy the designer and manufacturer. In the U.S. try Economy Cycles, the sole U.S. distributor; it was available the last time I looked. The kits for the U.S. market come with a ...

Re: Analog CDI kit
Thanks for the good wishes. The ignition portion should be a piece of cake. There are only six wires (four to the coils) and one plug; I'd be hard pressed to screw it up. (Hey!! How come that little black box is smokin' ?? ) The timing should be equally easy. The wiring harness involved a lot ...

Analog CDI kit
I purchased an Analog kit from Economy Cycles in the latter part of 2009 for my 1976 RD-400, and I've just finished installing the wiring harness. The brass plate will be installed on the engine when it's re-built later this summer; I'd decided to finish a complete rolling chassis before overhauling ...

Re: Greetings from a new member
A short story about the wild paint color: I had two quarts of expensive "Bahama Blue" alkyd enamel left over from an experimental airplane project that I built over ten years. I sold it this year to an aircraft mechanic up in Idaho; the original color scheme was Gray w/ Blue trim. It seemed a shame ...

As I promised in my last post, I'm posting some links to some photos that show my progress on my rebuild project as of late: http://i376.photobucket.com/albums/oo203/thruxton-texas/Secondsetofphotospartialrollingc-1.jpg This one shows the basic rolling chassis; the tank, front fender, seat cowl, and ...

Re: Greetings from a new member
Thanks for all the welcoming posts. Just curious, how many members are from the US? After reading through some of the various threads/posts, I notice that parts/spares availability is somewhat limited in India. It seems that there would be plenty considering the fact that the Rajdoot 350 was built ...
