Re: Hello again!
Thanks for the welcome back, reaper :) Yeah, you know, just trying to get thru this motherfucker they call "Life." I am happy to have my RD running so well. Last weekend, a friend and I did California Superbike School at Streets Of Willow Springs - what an awesome experience that was! My only ...

Hello again!
Hi ya'll! It's been a very long time and I just wanted to stop by to say hello. I hope my old friends, especially Ron, are well. I have been busy with Life and so on, and in the last couple of years have only ridden my RD, maybe 200 miles total. Here is why: http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/nn227 ...

Re: Hello RD ppl
Very cool RD350. I like the black/silver paint scheme. The ground it sits upon appears to be an unpaved, hard-pack dirt road. The type that is perfect for a supermotard RD !! I know what I'd want to build if those were mostly the type of roads available to me... http://i233.photobucket.com ...

Re: Hello RD ppl
Get them pics uploaded, srisha, I want to check them out. I don't know if you noticed, but I'm a picture taking and posting hound! I love the pics. I haven't been here very long myself but, if it's alright with the senior members of RDDreams, and the respected moderators of RDDreams, I would also ...

Ultimate Source forkbrace. Was popular during the 70's and 80's. It was very strong and made from Chrome Molly. It was bitchin.
I forget how I got mine but I know I didn't make it. You know, I don't think it would be very hard to duplicate, especially by someone with Chinoy's expertise

Re: Sup? Numbsayn?
Thank you reaper, for making me sound so cool =D> 8) but, I cannot tell a lie: I never raced an RD350 at Willow Springs. Nor did I ever race an RD400 or RZ350. I did race my little Honda, and learned allot about momentum. http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/nn227/swiftyhernandez/P1010195_cropped.jpg

Re: Sup? Numbsayn?
I used to own a 350 many moons ago and prefer the quicker steering characteristics of the 350 to the 400 with it's slightly longer wheelbase. Also, the 350 revs a little quicker, too. Beyond these two points, it's difficult to compare them since it's been so long since I've ridden a 350. Tires front ...

Re: Sup? Numbsayn?
Hi reaper, thanks for your kind words of sympathy.
I never raced Katanas myself, but I do have pics of them racing!
Also, I'm not at all aware of Ross's racing program .... sorry mang, I don't know I rarely go to the USA2Strokers site anymore...

Re: Sup? Numbsayn?
You know, I could easily be wrong on that main jet size (my memory has suffered greatly because of my head injury). And now that you mention it, 320 sounds right, too.

Re: Sup? Numbsayn?
Yes, it's quite easy to find an open road that allows you to open 'er up around here, so the big carbs do not create a problem. As for the jetting, I think the main is 270. The power band is what you would expect from a good running RD400, with ported cylinders, both the intake and exhaust. Power ...

Re: Sup? Numbsayn?
I had the 34 Mikunis installed because 1) they perform very well indeed, and 2) they were easier to obtain than various other carburators. Plus I trusted my friend that did the install. I went on the premise that if a 34mm round-slide is good enough for my stock single-cylinder Honda MT125R, it's ...

Re: Sup? Numbsayn?
Gentleman, thank you. And thank you for the warm welcome. :) I have a good time with the bike. I enjoy riding it on Wueste Road almost as much as I enjoy riding it on Otay Lakes Road. Otay Lakes road in Chula Vista, CA is the road I know best and is my favorite road. Right next to and running into ...

Sup? Numbsayn?
Greetings all. I am new to the RDDreams forum and looking forward to making new friends. I live in Southern California and currently own only one RD; the RD400F shown in the picture. It's basically stock with all the usual performance upgrades, i.e., steel-braided brake lines; tapered roller ...
