Do what most of us do then.Buy a parts off another bike,bolt on,have some fun while th original stock parts are locked in hibernation.I still have my front end somewhere,but I wouldn't want to use it for fear of bending the shock tubes. Or buy a junked bike, have fun (and relive frustrations) learn ...

Thanks for the welcome.

My RD needs a rebuild. Before that, need to bring myself upto speed. Which is the appropiate forum for that. Is there a "rebuilding your RD350" 101 somewhere.

Hi satyajit, I think the problem is more to do with my height (or lack of it:- 5' 6''), rather than my age. And either I'm getting slightly used to it, or the bike feels better with less fuel! I'll try and setup the seating position etc during first service. I'm trying to get hold of a standard ...
