Re: Rising back from dead
Sunday sky was overcast and intermittent showers threatening to turn into downpour anytime. I, running a light fever, was still struggling to hunt a ghost hidden in the carburetors, this second time. She would fire but not idle. A leak somewhere? , Electric problem was ruled out since it is RDD CDI ...

Re: RDD CDI installed - I'm so happy
I could not say no to Jared, because more than him I wanted to help the RD. LOL. How I managed to spare a day for him , I only know.I am not a RDD authorised installer. In fact , any one who follows the instal instruction can get it right. Need to make sure that the option wires are safely taped away ...

Re: Baleno - RDDreams Pro Street Setup - The new benchmark!
While I was browsing this post , an old timer marine chief engineer ( who used to be an auto buff himself and owned a Baleno) had a look at it. " Impressive" , he said , " This is what tuning should be. You Tune for efficiency and get that extra HP and Torque as bonus". I fully agree. Very good job ...

Re: Finally the Digital Trip !
Those figures are unbelievable. When my Rd was tested for PUC after RDD Ignition install, The guy took the reading twice, thought for a moment and wrote a certificate with regular figures. He thought the test equipment had gone faulty..

Re: Finally the go to match the show.
I realized that it is futile to talk to hard boiled so called experts about RDD CDIs. When I mentioned about your CDI , the guy would say, I have a much better and cheaper CDI. Now I chose to remain silent, If some expert comments on how quick my RD moves, I say it is a fiero CDI. No use educating ...

Re: RDD DIGI V FEEDBACK
leoagnel.. .. I have similar story. And would like to tell you all that I am the one responsible for Autoescorts TI for RD. In 90's , I had visited Auescorts stall at Thane. They were marketing it for cars then. I was desperate to get rid of the CB points on my RD. So I ordered two units . The owner ...

The digi4 is working flawlessly. received the Unis and 240 jets from Ron. The bike ran too rich. Fluttering and lack of power. I have no other jets to experiment with. So I am back to 140 mains and Unis. I ran the bike for a short lap. Yes, she has improved further. I can hear you all urging me to ...

RE: sweet dreams come true
Arjun, even I did the installation myself and my experience is'nt any different than yours. I am mighty happy now. Just curious to know, how many degrees BTDC you found the sweet spot. I have set the timing on my LT at 23.5 Deg , Running fine, But haven't tested it extensively. I know our timing ...

Rising back from dead
Owing an Rd through 90’s has been a pleasure and pain. Pain was mainly due to my quest of finding a perfect ignition. Whenever I was on leave, most of my weekend mornings were spent in setting the ignition timing. It was such a pleasure to set the perfect timing with a bulb with crocodile clips and d ...

Ron, looks like the code for stator plate has been changed from white to W/G (pulsar). and yellow to Black/R (source coil). I used a multimeter to find that out, but still ,pl confirm.
