After sitting on the CDI and the filters for over an year finally got a chance to plug them in.
All in all a very simple installation, new plugs and Caps and the bike fires to life instantly.
Rode the bike and it was a complete transformation to what she was before.
It is revving higher and more important building up the revs faster.
Observation : before the installation the plugs were black. After the Cdi was installed the plugs turned white in 5 minutes.
In went the filters and the new jets and the bike felt different again.
However the bike was stuttering at low revs so in went the previous pilots and it was happy again.
Jetting is not optimum as it needs some more tickling.
For years I have been doing the last curve to my house in 5th but this time without realising I was in 6th.

My bike has always been reliable and have given me more smiles per km than any of my other bikes but this treatment was
necessary to ensure that the bike will see the new decade.
I like to keep my bikes stock but this treatment was necessary to keep the bike running and to 'up' the game in Dehradun.
Thanks Ron for such a wonderful product.

I must also thank Arjun Raina (madmax on the forum) without whom I would not have been able to install the CDI the way it should.

As a matter of fact I got the CDI once I was sure that I have someone who can assist in the install.
He spent almost 2 days in the workshop sorting my bike out.(To me its a big deal from a holiday)
Also thanks to Alam(Shahalam on the forum) for letting me use his workshop in his absence.

However there are a few things to note on the lighter side (some can critisize though).
The rear tyre is losing grip in the 2nd and 3rd gears under brisk acceleration (new ceat secura 3.5X 18)
The handlebar has become lighter.
Also till date I was happy with my drums but a disc upgrade is now necessary.
Its a pity I could only ride the bike for only 2 days before the bike was stored away as my vacations came to an end.
Many Thanks
Piyush
